Mr. Hamidov Masaid, is the current Minister of Melioration and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan.

He was Born on April 1, 1961 in Dushanbe. Nationality: Tajik. In 1994 he graduated from Tajik Technical University, specializing in "engineering". He started his career after graduating from the Dushanbe Water Channels Administration technical school - as an engineer for city water utilities management.

Mr. Hamidov M. worked as an engineer at Hissor inter-station irrigation system as a chief engineer, chief administrator, and chief of automated irrigation administration under Ministry of Land Reclamation and Water Management of the Republic of Tajikistan.

From 2002 to 2006 he was functioning as a Vice Minister of Land Reclamation and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Director of the Center for Project Management on Water Resources in Fergana Valley. From May to November 2006 he was appointed as the first deputy chairman of the city of Dushanbe.

Mr. Hamidov M. is married and has 4 children.
